Application for the Highland Athlete Travel Award Scheme
Description
The Highland Athlete Travel Award Scheme is designed to support performance or development
athletes from Highland with their travel and accommodation costs for an agreed training and
competition schedule outside of the Highland Region.
If you do not give us your information
Personal information is required in order to process applications. If you do not provide your personal
information, High Life Highland will not be able to accept and process your application.
Conditions for processing personal information
Contract – HLH need to process this personal information to fulfil the contract with the customer
(Article 6) (1)(b) of GDPR.

Who we share your information with
Information will be shared with Sportscotland as a member of the assessment panel and for the national
monitoring of participation in Sport.
Your information will also be shared with the Highland Council as a member of the assessment panel.
If successful in your application, your achievements will be reported in the High Life Highland Annual
Report, Sportscotland’s Annual Report and via official social media channels.
How long we hold your information
HLH will keep the information until the end of the financial year plus six years (1st April 2030).
