High Life Highland offers those affected by health conditions the opportunity to take part in exercise sessions. Participants personal and sensitive information is required in order to deliver activities that meet the individual’s needs. We deliver activities that include but are not limited to: 

• Cancer
• Cardiac event
• Falls prevention
• Parkinson’s

If you do not give us your information 

If personal details are not provided, we are unable to allow participation in the exercise programmes.

article 6 (1)(a) – we require your personal information to process and manage bookings and coordinate activities. 

article 9(2)(a) – we require your explicit consent to process and manage your health information.

How to withdraw consent 

If you wish for your personal information to be removed from our records, please email DPO@highlifehighland.com 

Who we share your information with 

In the event of an emergency we may share your information with NHS Highland. A data sharing agreement exists with GPs, where necessary and participants are made aware of this on sign up to classes. 

Macmillan Cancer Support provides High Life Highland with third party software system (Views) where we store and manage anonymised data. For a list and more information on third party processors please visit: www.highlifehighland.com/GDPR/DataProcessors

How long we hold your information 

High Life Highland will retain your data whilst you are an active member only. Your data will be removed 2 years after your last engagement with High Life Highland.
