Manage joint pain and move with confidence

ESCAPE-pain (Enabling Self-management and Coping with Arthritic Pain using Exercise) is a group-based rehabilitation programme designed for people living with chronic joint pain or osteoarthritis. The class combines education and tailored exercise to help reduce pain, improve physical function, and enhance quality of life.

Each session includes simple, low-impact exercises that are easy to follow and can be adapted to suit individual needs. Alongside the physical activity, participants receive guidance on managing their condition, understanding pain, and making lifestyle changes that support long-term wellbeing.

The programme is evidence-based and delivered in a friendly, supportive group setting, helping participants build confidence, stay active, and connect with others facing similar challenges. Whether you're looking to reduce stiffness, improve mobility, or regain independence, ESCAPE-pain offers a practical and empowering approach to managing joint pain.
