From Inverness Railway Station, it’s just a short walk to the Inverness Museum & Art Gallery. Exit the station onto Station Square and turn right toward Falcon Square. Continue straight along the B865, then follow Church Street past the Victorian Market. The museum is located on Church Street, just a few minutes from the station.
From Inverness Railway Station, it’s a quick ride to the Inverness Museum & Art Gallery. Head out of the station onto Station Square and turn right toward Falcon Square. Follow the B865 along Academy Street, then continue onto Church Street. The museum is on Church Street, just past the Victorian Market. The journey is less than half a mile and takes only a few minutes by bike.
Several public buses stop close to Inverness Museum & Art Gallery. The nearest stop is Castle Steps, served by routes such as 302, 17, 2, 253, M96, and X99. Just around the corner at Castle Street, you’ll find additional services including routes 4, 14, 14A, and 16. Both stops are only a short walk from the museum, making it easy to reach by bus. A private disabled parking bay is located at the museum entrance, available on a first-come, first-served basis. A Highland Council Blue Badge bay is also nearby, with a 3-hour limit. Space is available at the entrance for visitor drop-off. Coaches can use the drop-off point outside Inverness Town House. No other parking is provided at the museum. Paid on-street parking is available on Castle Street, and nearby car parks include Rose Street Multi-storey, Eastgate Shopping Centre, and Inverness Cathedral.
