What you need to know
- It's the member's responsibility to cancel if they no longer wish to continue — refunds will not be issued for non-use of membership.
- All cancellations must be submitted via the online cancellation form above.
- High Life Highland does not offer refunds after the 14-day cooling-off period.
- Annual memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- If your nominated centre is fully closed for more than two continuous weeks (for repairs, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances), we'll offer equivalent credit for each additional full week of closure, in line with our terms and conditions.
Timing of your Direct Debit
We send our Direct Debit file to the bank a few days before payments are taken each month (on or around the 8th). Depending on when you submit your cancellation, this can affect whether your next payment is still taken. To avoid this, we advise submitting your cancellation request by the 28th of the month wherever possible. It's also worth cancelling the Direct Debit or recurring card payment directly with your bank.
What happens next
Once you cancel, you'll keep your highlife card and automatically move to Pay As You Go — so you can still use our facilities and pay per activity, with no ongoing membership fee. If you'd rather cancel this too, there's an option to do so on the form.
You'll also receive a short feedback survey by email after your cancellation, so we can understand your reasons for leaving.
