From Golspie Co op walk up Main Street heading north until you reach Golspie High School car park. The library can be accessed by walking around the school to the right.

The nearest bus stop going north is next to the old bank of Scotland and the stop going south is directly across the road. The bus is the x99 which goes between Inverness and Thurso. Once off the bus walk down Main St (heading south) until you reach Golspie High School car park. The library can be accessed by walking around the school to the right.
From the south, entering Golspie follow A9. Turn left on Fountain road, then turn right onto Back Road, follow this road until you reach the right turn for the Sutherland Swimming Pool and follow road down to the community centre. The library is to the left of the community centre.

Golspie Library is fully accessible to wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility. While the library does not have its own toilets, accessible facilities are available at the adjacent community centre and nearby leisure centre. Staff are happy to assist with reaching books placed high or low on shelves
