Fortrose Community Library is a modern purpose built facility within Fortrose Academy.

Reading Groups

Fortrose Library Reading groups take place on the first Wednesday of each month, in the afternoon and evening.

Bookbug Sessions and other events for children

• During school terms – Mondays 09:20 to 09:40 and Saturdays 10:30 to 10:50
• During autumn, winter and spring school holidays – Saturdays 10:30 to 10:50
• During summer school holidays – Fridays 10:30 to 10:50

We also hold story times and other children’s activities including the Summer Reading Challenge.

Getting to Know Your Techno

These sessions ,  run with pupils and the youth workers,  are aimed at assisting people to use computers, ereaders, phones etc. If you are interested in this please ask for your name to go on to the list for the next course.
