Parking
Inverness Museum and Art Gallery has a private disabled parking bay at the entrance.  This space is available to visitors of the museum on a first come first served basis.  There is also a Highland Council Blue Badge disabled parking bay available, with a time restriction of 3 hours.

There is enough space at the entrance to drop off visitors, and for visitors coming by coach, there is space outside the Inverness Town House that can be used as a drop off point.

Exit from the main entrance onto Station Square.  Walk past the Royal Highland Hotel on the left, and towards Academy Street.  Cross at the pedestrian crossing and walk straight down Union Street to the Mercure Hotel.  Turn left at the Mercure Hotel and traverse down Church Street until it meets Bridge Street.  Cross at the pedestrian crossing towards the Bella Italia restaurant.  Take the street to the left of restaurant- Castle Wynd.  (This road is situated in between the Bella Italia restaurant and Inverness Town House).  Walk up Castle Wynd hill until reaching a flight of concrete steps.  The public toilets are situated to the left.  Do not alight the steps towards the castle, instead take a quarter turn to the right.  Inverness Museum and Art Gallery is situated on the corner, the entrance will be visible from here.  There is also a large sign providing directions at the concrete steps.
