Mallaig Library is housed within the Mallaig and Morar Community Centre, occupying a bright, airy semi-circular space with stunning views of the railway and nearby islands. The library provides free internet access, public computers, and photocopying facilities, and also acts as an Access Point for local services.
Regular activities include Bookbug sessions every Monday, Crafternoon gatherings on Wednesdays, and a fun-filled Lego Club on Saturday mornings. With dedicated areas for quiet reading, study, and children’s play, Mallaig Library offers a welcoming, inclusive environment for all ages.

From the centre of the village, turn left onto Station Road. just passed the train station turn left onto the A830. Cross the road using the pedestrian crossing and continue along A830. The Library is housed within the Mallaig & Morar Community Centre which is just before the West Bay Car Park. There are steps or further on a walkway to take you to the main doors. Within the 2 sets of double doors turn left. Go through the next double doors and the door to the library is along the small hallway.

This leads to the West Bay Car Park on your left and the Community Hall Building on the right. The Library is housed within the Mallaig & Morar Community Centre. There is a walkway to take you to the main doors. Within the 2 sets of double doors turn left. Go through the next double doors and the door to the library is along the small hallway.
From the bus stop in the village centre, turn left and go through crossroad onto Station Road. just passed the train station turn left onto the A830. If travelling through the centre of the village, turn onto Station Road. At the roundabout turn left onto the A830. Take the next right turn after the entrance to the Police Station. The Community Centre is on the right side and the West Bay Car Park is on the left. The Library is housed within the Mallaig & Morar Community Centre. There is a walkway to take you to the main doors. Within the 2 sets of double doors turn left. Go through the next double doors and the door to the library is along the small hallway.
