Set in the heart of the Gaidhealtachd, the Sunart Centre is a welcoming and inclusive community hub, sharing facilities with Ardnamurchan High School. It is managed by High Life Highland in partnership with Àrainn Shuaineirt - a constituted community organisation with open membership for all residents in the area. The Centre is guided by a Management Committee representing five local Community Council areas, ensuring strong local involvement and ownership.
The Sunart Centre offers a rich year-round programme of performing and visual arts, featuring concerts and theatre from internationally acclaimed artists. It also provides versatile conferencing facilities, including a 200-seat theatre with full presentation capabilities and smaller rooms for meetings and workshops. Lifelong learning is a key focus, from pre-school playgroups, after school activities through to adult vocational and recreational evening classes to support personal development and community engagement.
