GUIDE TO THE HIRING OF THE SUNART CENTRE FOR PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
Hirers will have access to the rooms and areas outlined within the booking agreement and access will be restricted to these areas. All other areas will be locked and inaccessible.
- The Sunart Centre is a NO SMOKING building and hirers must ensure that all attending the event are aware of this and abide by it.
- Hirers are responsible for any damage caused to the building and to its fixtures and fittings.
- Hirers are responsible for cleaning up any spillages or breakages as soon as they occur.
- Hirers are responsible for ensuring all areas are clean, tidy and restored to the condition in which they were found by the end of the hire periods as given above.
- If ALCOHOL is to be sold it must only be under the terms and conditions of the applicable liquor Licence from The Highland Council, which must be displayed prominently throughout the event.
Hirers may make use of the following, but only under the guidance and supervision of the High Life Highland community centre coordinator and/or janitor on duty:
- stacking chairs, as available
- tables, as available
- tea and coffee making facilities
Please note:
- It is part of any agreement between us that all furniture, fixtures and fittings are returned to their correct storage spaces, all floors are swept clean, all rubbish is collected in refuse sacks, all floors that may require it are mopped and dried at least once, and that all breakages are reported to us. Following your event we reserve the right to charge you in addition to your agreed hire charge for any costs incurred by us for additional cleaning or to cover breakages or damage to the hall.
- Any assistance in helping to organise your event or setting up the venue must be requested and may be charged for in addition to the above hall hire charges.
