Local bus services stop in Thurso town centre, just a few minutes’ walk from the Visitor Centre. Thurso railway station is also nearby.
The Visitor Centre is easily accessible via the A9 and A836 routes into Thurso.
The North Coast Visitor Centre does not have its own private parking, but there is a public parking area at the entrance available on a first-come, first-served basis, including designated disabled spaces. These spaces have no time restrictions. Additional parking is available within walking distance, such as the Co-op car park and spaces along the main street, though these may have time limits.
