Am Fasgadh is home to the Highland Folk Museum’s Collection Store and offers modern, fully equipped spaces ideal for meetings, training courses and conferences. The building includes flexible meeting rooms, breakout areas and accessible facilities throughout.
We offer room hire and catering options tailored to your needs, spaces can generally take up to forty people — please contact us to discuss your event.
Am Fasgadh provides meeting rooms on both the ground and first floors, each with adjoining breakout spaces and toilet facilities. Rooms include wall‑mounted whiteboards and pin boards, and can be arranged in a variety of layouts. The Grant Room also features a 55‑inch wall‑mounted screen for presentations.
The building is fully accessible, with wide doorways, a lift between floors and accessible toilets on both levels. A private car park is located beside the building.

The museum is a short walk from Newtonmore village.
We’re on National Cycle Route 7. Cycle racks are available in our car park.
Regular bus and train services run to Newtonmore. Check timetables at Scottish Citylink, National Express, or ScotRail.
Easily accessible from the A9. From Inverness, Perth, or Fort William, follow signs for Newtonmore and look for the museum at the north end of the village.
