Grantown Library is located in the old Courthouse building in the town square and offers a bright and welcoming space for all.
Visitors can borrow books, explore a dedicated Scottish section, enjoy audio books, and even borrow jigsaws. There’s a children’s area with games and Lego, and a community jigsaw that anyone can contribute to.
The library also provides public computers, guest Wi-Fi, and printing services. Regular activities include a monthly book group, weekly craft sessions, and well-being classes. Grantown Library is a vibrant hub for reading, creativity, and community connection.

On foot from main town square, we are at the furthest corner by the flag poles. Direction of walking towards Castle Road East

By bike from main town square, we are at the furthest corner by the flag poles. Direction of cycling towards Castle Road East

The nearest bus stop is just across the road. Stagecoach buses 36a, 37, 37x stop here.

From the south, enter Grantown on the B9102, continue along the High St (A939), and when you reach the Square, the Courthouse is on your right next to the flagpoles. From the north, enter Grantown on the A939, at the start of the Suqare, the library is in the Courthouse on your left. Parking out front or around the back in Burnfield Carpark.
