About our facilities

At High Life Highland, we aim for the highest standards of inclusivity. This page shares helpful information about our changing and showering areas so you know what to expect before you visit.

Changing areas at Thurso Leisure Centre

Wetside Changing – Swimming Pool 

We have various areas for changing.  Single cubicles are available as well as a group change area.

There are 24 cubicles (2 with a private shower) and 4 family group changing areas, all with doors for privacy. 

There are 7 communal showers leading onto the poolside. Male and female toilets are available in this area. 

Lockers are provided and operate with £1 coins, which are refunded after use. Two hairdryers are also available.

We also have an accessible changing area that includes:

• A toilet
• A changing seat
• A height adjustable bed and hoist
• A shower with a seat

Dryside Changing 

We have two areas - a male and female block.  Each area contains:

• A separate toilet with a sink
• A private shower
• A communal changing space

16 Lockers are provided and use £1 coins, which are returned after use.

Accessible Change – Dryside

We also have an accessible toilet on dryside, this area includes:-

• A toilet and sink
• A shower with a seat

4 lockers are provided and operate with £1 coins, which are refunded after use.
