We serve the North Coast of the Highlands, from John O’Groats to Kinlochbervie, with a mobile library carrying a wide selection of materials including children’s books, general fiction, crime and mystery titles, biographies, autobiographies, large‑print books, and non‑fiction. Any reservations placed through High Life Highland can be delivered on the van’s next scheduled visit, with our route combining individual house stops and communal stopping points.Â
We operate on a three‑week timetable: the first week covers north and west Caithness, visiting all main villages and surrounding areas; the second week runs from the Reay area through to Bettyhill and Borgie, extending down to Forsinard and Strathnaver, with additional stops near Strathy Lighthouse and RSPB Forsinard; and the final week travels from the Tongue area and Talmine around Loch Eriboll, out to Durness, and through to the Kinlochbervie area.
