Changing and showering facilities at Hilton Community Centre

At Hilton Community Centre, we aim to be as inclusive as possible. This page provides detailed information for customers who may benefit from knowing more about our changing and showering facilities before visiting.

General changing facilities

Our changing rooms are located just off the centre’s male and female toilets and follow a gender-specific communal layout. Both the male and female changing areas are open-plan and include two showering facilities each.

While both areas are communal, the female showers are housed within cubicles, offering a basic level of privacy. Please note that there are currently no lockers available at the centre.

Accessible shower facilities

An accessible shower is available within the centre’s disabled toilet. This shower is at ground level with sliding doors, making it easy to access. Although there is no seat inside the shower, a seat is provided just outside.

The space is designed to accommodate a disabled person and up to two carers. The room also includes a toilet with space for a carer on one side and doubles as a baby changing area. A large waste bin is provided for the disposal of pads and nappies.

Charges for changing and showering

Use of the showering and changing facilities is free for all-inclusive members. Non-members and pay-as-you-go customers can also use these facilities at no extra cost when participating in one of the centre’s activities.
