We know that navigating menopause and perimenopause can feel overwhelming — and that the right information, shared in the right way, can make all the difference. That's why High Life Highland is launching a brand-new wellbeing event series, and we're kicking things off with something a little bit special.
Wellness, Your Way – Well Women, Well Life is a two-hour workshop taking place on Saturday 6 June 2026, 10am–12 noon at the Bught Park Pavilion in Inverness. It's designed for women who want honest, expert-led conversation about menopause — without the jargon, and with plenty of warmth.
What to expect on the day
The workshop is hosted in partnership with Menopause Health Highland, led by two brilliant clinicians, Dr Emma Rushworth and Dr Beth MacFarlane, who bring both expertise and a genuinely entertaining energy to the room.
Over the two hours, you'll hear from the experts on understanding menopause symptoms, ways to manage them, and — helpfully — the common myths it's time to put to rest. There'll be space to ask questions, share experiences with other women, and feel less alone in what can be quite a significant life stage.
You'll also get to enjoy refreshments, leave with a goodie bag, and be in with a chance of winning a three-month highlife membership.
It's a great opportunity for women to take some time for themselves, enjoy the company of like-minded people and relax with some lovely refreshments.

A new series built around you
This event is the first in our Wellness, Your Way series, which we're hoping to grow into two or three events a year. Future topics in the pipeline include men's health, nutrition and mental health — so watch this space.
Emma Thomson, Business Development Manager at High Life Highland, said: "Wellness, Your Way is a new offering from High Life Highland, where we aim to host two or three wellbeing-focused events each year. We're delighted to be launching the programme with a menopause-focused workshop."
Dr Emma Rushworth from Menopause Health Highland added: "Being able to make an informed choice about your menopause care is extremely important so we aim to arm women with the knowledge – but also the confidence – they need to manage their menopause journey the best way they can."
