What is the Active Scheme?
The Active Scheme is a new discounted membership offer for Highland residents who receive full Council Tax Reduction. It gives eligible customers 70% off activities across High Life Highland leisure centres and pools.
When and why was the Active Scheme introduced?
It was introduced in December 2025 following extensive research and consultation. It provides a simple, fair, and sustainable way to support those most in need and aligns with similar schemes across Scotland.
Who qualifies for the Active Scheme?
Customers must live in the Highlands and receive full Council Tax Reduction.
How much discount does the Active Scheme provide?
Eligible customers receive a 70% discount on activities – one of the highest levels offered by leisure trusts in Scotland.
