Nestled on the shores of Loch Slapin beneath the Red Cuillin, Torrin Bunkhouse is the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye. With breathtaking views and easy access to walking trails, climbing routes, and sea kayaking spots, it’s ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, families, and groups.

Our 18-bed bunkhouse offers:
- Five bunk rooms (four 4-bed rooms and one 2-bed room)
- Two shower rooms
- Well-equipped kitchen and communal area
- Drying room for outdoor gear
- Wi-Fi in communal spaces (please note: limited mobile reception in Torrin)
- Bedding provided and regularly maintained facilities

Location and nearby activities
Located just a mile from Blaven and Clach Glas parking areas, Torrin Bunkhouse is a great choice for walkers, climbers, and wildlife lovers. Individual and family bookings can be made up to three weeks in advance (minimum two-night stay). Constituted groups and clubs can book further ahead for a well-organised trip.
Cycling the B8083 from Broadford to Torrin is a 7 mile ride along a narrow, single‑track road. The route is quiet but requires awareness of other traffic.
There is a limited Stagecoach bus service that links Broadford and Torrin. See the Stagecoach website for details.
The journey from Broadford to Torrin is 7 miles and follows the B8083, a single‑track road. The road begins just east of the Broadford Hotel and is signposted for Elgol.
There is a carpark available for Torrin Bunkhouse guests.
