Jimmy Thompson Collection

Jimmy Thomspon (1929? - 2025) was a journalist and free-lance press photographer.  He also served for several years as a Councillor for Inverness.  His archive of approx 1,500 photos cover the 1980s and 1990s, and were donated to the Highland Photographic Archive, now part of the museum collections.

Jimmy Thompson died on 2 September 2025, aged 96.
