High Life Highland, as a wholly owned company of The Highland Council and therefore a Scottish Public Authority, is required by The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 to respond to Freedom of Information requests, and to produce and maintain a publication scheme.
Freedom of Information
You can make a Freedom of Information (FOI) request by emailing info@highlifehighland.com
Alternatively, you can submit your request in writing to:

- Bught Road
- Inverness
- IV3 5SS
Make your request as clear as possible. Focus on the information you really want to see - if your request is too broad, it may be refused due to the excessive costs incurred of responding to it.
What happens next?
- we will acknowledge your request within 2 working days
- we have 20 working days to respond to your request for information
- if we are not sure what information you are looking for, we will contact you as soon as possible to clarify this
- we will always make as much information available as possible. However, there are certain circumstances where we may be unable to provide you with the information you requested. If we propose to withhold information, we will tell you why
- if you are not satisfied with the response you receive, or the way in which your request has been handled, you have the right to ask us to review our decision. If you are still dissatisfied, you can appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner
Publication Scheme
High Life Highland has adopted the Model Publication Scheme 2017. The publication scheme
- allows you to see what information is available
- states what charges may be applied
- explains how to find the information easily
- provides contact details for enquiries and to get help with accessing the inforamtion
- explains how to request information that has not been published
