Look who is coming to visit on Monday 14th October!

EventScotland and the Scottish FA have teamed up to tour ‘The Hampden Roar.’ Kicking off on Saturday, 12 October, ‘The Hampden Roar’ is an exciting family-friendly exhibition featuring five interactive zones that will also visit Dundee, Inverness, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

Included in one of the five dedicated zones will be the coveted trophy of the UEFA European Championship, the Henri Delaunay Cup, last won by Portugal during the 2016 tournament. This will be the first time that the trophy has toured Scotland and is a unique opportunity for fans to see it firsthand in their local town. In the other zones, fans are also offered Eur-own chance to play with a mini-pitch – a place for children and adults alike to enjoy activities like a dribbling competition, penalty kicks as well as football trivia. Also included is an Iconic Moments zone – a travelling museum exhibiting precious artefacts from the Scottish Football Museum – Heroes Dressing Room, the perfect backdrop for the all-important selfie and, finally, the Fans First zone which will capture Scots fans greatest and most iconic moments from the tournament’s history.

‘The Hampden Roar’ is being brought to life by VisitScotland’s EventScotland team, the Scottish FA, the Scottish Government, the Scottish Football Museum and local partners.

The tour will visit:
Overgate Shopping Centre – Saturday 12th October: 10.00 – 18.00
Inverness Leisure – Monday 14th October: 10.00 – 18.00
Aberdeen Sports Village – Thursday 17th October: 10.00 – 18.00
Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre – Saturday 19th October: 10.00 – 18.00
