In this workshop, with Jana Emburey, you will learn how to make a beautifully bound Link Stitch books. This exposed spine binding technique shows the intricacy of the stitching creating striking notebooks, especially when using colourful linen thread.
We will make a soft as well as hard cover books and also talk about basic tools and materials needed to make your books and artist books at home.
All materials & tools will be provided, but participants might like to bring their own bone folders, craft knives, rulers, awls, cutting boards, extra paper for the inside of the book as well as interesting paper to use as a book cover. No previous experience necessary. Suitable for adults only (over 16 years). #InvMAG
