Inverness Fiddlers’ Society

Ever seen a fiddle made of steel? The museum has a display of memorabilia on loan from the Inverness Fiddlers’ Society, including ‘Murd’s tin fiddle’ and the impressive ‘Henry Williamson trophy’ made by renowned London silversmith Stuart Devlin.  The Society was founded in 1977 and since then has hosted a fiddlers’ rally every year – to find out more about the Society and the 2020 rally visit www.invernessfiddlers.org.  Some of the fiddlers will be playing toe-tapping live music in our First Floor Foyer on Saturday 29 Feb, 2-3pm! #InvMAG #InvernessFiddlers
