Inverness Museum & Art Gallery (IMAG) are delighted to announce the return of the New Highland Graduates – an opportunity aimed at early career artists & designers / illustrators. This group exhibition showcases 10 artists who are all based in the Highlands and graduated between 2022 – 2025; they are Caitlin Allison, Codie Anne, Seasaidh Cat, Mark Faulkner, Katy MacLachlan, Erin Matheson, Jan McCormack, Natalie Rattray, Donald Ellis Ross, and Alexandra Smart.
The selected artists work across a wide range of media, engaging imaginatively with the culture, geography and their experiences of the Highlands / Ghàidhealtachd. This exhibition reflects the strength and diversity of contemporary practice emerging in our region.

The next iteration of New Highland Graduates will return in 2029.
Finally, thank you to our invited selectors Susan Christie (curator & producer) and Shaun Fraser (artist & past New Highland Graduates 2013 recipient).
