Don’t miss this wheelie good opportunity – saddle up for bike hub concession!

A unique opportunity to operate a bike hub concession in the historic setting of the Northern Meeting Park in Inverness is being offered by High Life Highland. But you’ll need to get into gear, with the closing date for offers being 30 January.

High Life Highland requires a suitably experienced company to operate the new Bike Hub concession, including bike rental and bike maintenance, and develop the services available to the local community and visitors over the next five years.

Andrea Finlayson Senior Community Venues & Engagement Manager at High Life Highland explained: “This is an exceptional opportunity for someone to pedal their own bike business within a truly unique and historical setting, right in the heart of the Highland capital.

“The Northern Meeting Park is a listed building and an important part of Inverness’ historic environment. The Park’s pavilion is said to be the best surviving example of its type in Scotland and the building is part of the Riverside Conservation area whose impressive Victorian buildings reflect Inverness’s expansion and development in the 19th century as an important centre for trade, tourism and culture.

“Following on from an extensive £5.9 million refurbishment of the Northern Meeting Park, the addition of a Bike Hub for locals and visitors alike, offers a new venture for an experienced business owner or someone keen to tread a new business path.”
