A wonderful opportunity to see objects, archives and photographs telling the hidden and sometimes lost stories of Academy Street’s buildings and businesses, including the Rose Street Foundry / AI Welders; The Empire Theatre and the building that gives the street its name – The original Academy.
This exhibition is part of the Illuminating Inverness collaboration between Inverness Museum & Art Gallery, the Highland Archives and the Highland Council Historic Environment Record. It is showing in Room to Discover, which is sometimes used for other events and activities.
