Rhyian Skinner: Leisure Supervisor

I’ve worked at TRACC for 5 years, starting at 16. In that time, I’ve gained several qualifications including Level 1 and 2 swim instructor, trainer assessor, Level 2 gym instructor and Level 3 education and training qualification. Outside work, I studied Sports Therapy and am now also a qualified sports masseuse.

Kelly Skinner: Leisure Manager

I came to work for High Life Highland when I was 16 and have never looked back, working my way up through the ranks! I’ve enjoyed lots of different roles and enjoy swim teaching the most. I am passionate about horses and did an evening college class over 7 years completing my NC, HNC & HND in Equine Management.

Wendy Irving: Leisure Assistant (wet)

I have worked for High Life Highland for 8 years as a lifeguard and swim teacher. I love giving something back to a sport. I also run a croft with about 100 sheep, 2 working sheepdogs and a business producing kiln dried firewood.

Steve Jones: Receptionist & Fitness Instructor

I’ve been with High Life Highland for almost a decade. Starting as a receptionist, then as a leisure assistant and now a personal trainer. I enjoy competitive fitness, eating and travel – ideally all at the same time! I’m heading to Europe next year to take part in an Ironman 70.3.

Eilidh Oliver: Receptionist & Swim Teacher

I have worked for High Life Highland for 17 years, starting as a lifeguard, then a swimming teacher, working my way up to supervisor. I took a short career break to have my 2 children and then came back as a member of the reception and swim teaching team.

Ciara Simpson: Leisure supervisor

Like many of my colleagues, I starting working for High Life Highland when I was 16 as a leisure assistant, receptionist, and now I am also a qualified Level 1 and 2 swim teacher and supervisor. I love sports and play for Sutherland Ladies FC.

George Hannah: Leisure Assistant

I am 17 and been with High Life Highland for 7 months. I am a swim teacher at TRACC which I really enjoy. Outside of work I have just completed a sponsored swim in Loch Morlich, raising ££££ for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Nikki Cattanach: Receptionist and Support Assistant

I have been a receptionist at TRACC for 9 years and I also work for the High Life Highland central team as a Support Assistant. I have two children and a self catering business. I love to travel and can be quite spontaneous as evidenced by my very last-minute bookings!

Tracy Stone: Leisure Supervisor

I started working in leisure when I was still in school and Jan 2025 will mark 30 years working for the council and High Life Highland! Every day is different and I love the customer interaction. The favourite part of my role is education and training. Outside of work enjoy water sports like paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing and waterskiing.

Ross Mackenzie: Leisure Assistant

Now 20, I started with High Life Highland when I was 16 as a leisure assistant at TRACC, Since then, I have completed my Level 1 and 2 swim teacher qualifications and Level 2 gym instructor through a modern apprenticeship. I enjoy hillwalking, football, tennis and badminton and am now trying judo and Jujitsu!

Vivienne Skinner: Cashier/Receptionist

I have worked at TRACC since 2017 in various roles including leisure assistant, supervisor, swim teacher and receptionist. I have been a swim coach for the last 18 years passing on experience to the next generation of swimmers. Last year I completed the Loch Tay 3k open water swim challenge and finished first in my age group and 7th overall.

Adam Coghill: Leisure Assistant

I has been working at highlife since I was 17. I am a full time Leisure Assistant and relief supervisor. I have completed my Level 1 and Level 2 swim teaching qualification and have recently passed my NPLQ trainer assessor course that allows me to take staff training and NPLQ courses.
