Strathspey Community Sport Hub

Strathspey Community Sport Hub was launched in 2017 and is based at Grantown Grammar and the Craig Mclean Leisure Centre (CMLC).  The project aims to support local clubs and develop opportunities for the whole community to get involved in sport & physical activity.

Vision:

Strathspey Community Sport Hub has been developed in partnership with Grantown Grammar, High Life Highland and several community clubs.  The group works together to provide:

  • A cohesive network of support for clubs, coaches & volunteers involved in sport
  • Opportunities for everyone to get involved with local sport and physical activity
  • Effective pathways between schools and clubs, allowing young people to reach their potential as athletes, leaders and coaches
  • A platform for clubs to share ideas & resources to help promote their sport to the local community.

The Hub has a strong focus on developing the people involved in sport and works closely with local schools to ensure that pupils get the opportunity to take part in sport & physical activity.
