The UKCC Level 1 Course is designed to help any adult, 16 years of age or over, to enhance their Shinty coaching practices so they can in turn, develop their player’s skills. The Level 1 course has been accredited as a United Kingdom Coaching Certificate (UKCC).
The course will consist of:
1) Two day Practical/Theory sessions
Saturday 19/01/19: 9.30am – 5pm
Sunday 20/01/19: 9.30am – 5pm
Venue: Craigmonie Centre, Drumnadrochit
2) A Coaching Session assessment at individual candidates Club/School.
The cost of the course will be £150 (40% funding available from sportscotland) and each candidate will receive a resource booklet and copies of the rules of shinty. Please bring a packed lunch on each day.
