PGA Level 1 Golf Coaching Course Day 1

The PGA Level 1 qualification is an introduction to golf coaching that enables volunteers to deliver ClubGolf Stage 1 coaching sessions to junior beginners. You will learn how to safely deliver a group session with six juniors covering putting, chipping, pitching and full-swing as well as have access to the ClubGolf Coaching Hub with many useful resources. Learning how to demonstrate and communication your coaching points and how to set skill challenges are all part of this two day course. The Course fee is £275, but your Golf club can claim funding available through sportscotland, High Life Highland, Local Sports Councils.

Candidates will complete a PVG registration at their Golf Club and when qualified they are insured for a three year period by the PGA. Once registered you have access to resources that the PGA have produced to support you with the course content. Once licensed, all active coaches are fully cover by PGA insurance while coaching.
