The Highland Folk Museum has a wide range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable visit for our visit.
Maps of the Museum are positioned at several key areas to direct you to nearby facilities. Maps of the site are also available from reception and are included in our Museum guidebook which is available at several areas around the site.

- Car parking
Free parking is available at the Museum for all visitors. We have a large car park with bays for coaches and marked spaces for less able visitors beside the reception entrance.
- Toilets
Toilet and baby changing facilities can be found in the reception area and toilets are also available at the Croft and the Township.
- Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome. For all other dogs there is an area at reception which is fenced off and has shelter and water provided to enable visitors to leave their dogs (at your own risk) when they visit the Museum. Please speak to a member of our team for advice on dog walks nearby.
