Weigh to Go circuit class comes to Nairn

A new circuit class for people to tone up and lose weight post lockdown starts at Nairn Leisure Centre this Monday (September 13).

Led by an instructor, Weigh to Go will be held in the newly-refurbished fitness room on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 11am and noon.

Richard Hanna, manager of the Marine Road venue, said: “This is our first circuit class at Nairn and the perfect full body workout for newcomers and those returning to the gym.

“We want these group classes to be fun, and to build a community between those taking part each week – motivating each other and celebrating each other’s success.

“This is a high intensity workout and Weigh to Go will help tone your body and shed fat as well as improving your fitness and endurance.

“The instructor will guide you around different exercise stations and you’ll get to do different exercises as many times as you can in a set amount of time.

“We hope it will give people the confidence to use gym equipment when perhaps they wouldn’t usually – and with our new state of the art equipment, we’re ready to support people in smashing their fitness goals.”

As part of Weigh to Go, gym goers will be offered the opportunity to track their progress and body statistics at intervals throughout the programme.

Classes are free for highlife members, and £5 per session for non-members and £2.50 for concessions.
