Plants now on sale at Inverness Botanic Gardens

Bedding plants, hanging baskets and flower pots are on sale at Inverness Botanic Gardens.

Locally grown and wholly acclimatised to the Highland climate, the High Life Highland gardens on Bught Lane has a wide range on offer for the green-fingered gardener.

Manager Ewan Mackintosh said: “These are great products and because our creative gardeners plant them, they are perfectly acclimatised to the Highlands and look stunning.

“Now is the perfect time to plant them in your own garden and I’d encourage people to come and see us, find out more about what we do and grab a bargain whilst they’re still available.”

Planted with peat-free compost, hanging baskets are £29.99, pots are £19.99 and plants are £2  each or £6 for four.

Flowers include verbena, geranium, begonia, fuchsias and sunflowers.

Inverness Botanic Gardens recently created hundreds of hanging baskets that can be seen across Inverness on behalf of Inverness BID and supported by the Common Good Fund.

The gardens are open every day from 10am-4pm.
