High Life Highland partners with Home Energy Scotland to support staff wellbeing

The cost-of-living, including energy prices, is worrying for everyone – particularly as the nation heads into the darker, colder winter months.

To ensure that the right support can be received during this time, High Life Highland has partnered up with Home Energy Scotland to offer information-sharing sessions open to all High Life Highland members of staff.

These sessions have been designed by Home Energy Scotland to provide impartial advice on saving energy, keeping warm at home, renewable energy, cutting water waste at home, and more.

However, the core aim of delivering these sessions is to ensure that the wellbeing of High Life Highland staff is supported.

Julia Munro, Home Energy Scotland’s Home Energy Specialist, said: “We are pleased to be working with High Life Highland to support staff in these difficult times through our interactive workshops.

“We hope the sessions will help them save money on their energy bills, have warmer homes and improve their wellbeing.”

Home Energy Scotland have also published a detailed list of programmes and services that can help with financial support, such as: debt, emergency funding, and fuel vouchers.

Initially, two 45-minute sessions were hosted in Studio 2 at Inverness Leisure on Wednesday 11th October.

Lynn Bauermeister, High Life Highland’s Head of Health and Wellbeing, added: “Working with Home Energy Scotland is one of many collaborations between High Life Highland and external partners to help support colleague health and wellbeing.

“We are grateful to Home Energy Scotland for making these sessions available.”

A 45-minute online session is planned for Wednesday 22nd November at 12.30pm.

Those interested in attending, or anyone interested in any other initiatives High Life Highland is delivering to support colleague health and wellbeing, are invited to contact [email protected]

Please note that these sessions are only open to High Life Highland staff at present.
