High Life Highland are starting bounceback 2.0 in earnest by providing a range of outdoor fitness classes for members at various locations across the Highlands.
The change in Scottish Government guidelines allows organised group exercise for all adults, in groups of up to 15 people to meet outdoors for exercise. Customers will be able to enjoy classes ranging from Circuits to Metafit and Kettle Bells at venues across the Highlands from Monday 22nd March.
High Life Highland Chief Executive Steve Walsh said, “Our teams are excited to be able to take the first steps in welcoming our customers back to group exercise. Their enthusiasm to make sure people can enjoy exercising in a group again by providing classes outside is fantastic. Thanks to their efforts we will be providing over 700 spaces per week across Highland which is one more step forward towards normality for everyone involved.
High Life Highland operate leisure venues across the Highlands including gyms and swimming pools under the umbrella of the highlife scheme which provides great value fitness opportunities for families and individuals in local communities. Spaces for Outdoor fitness classes can be booked online at hlh.scot/booknow.
Mr Walsh concluded “The First Ministers announcement providing a clearer indication on the dates when we will be able to have customers enjoying their fitness indoor once again is a great boost to customers and staff. Our priority since the start of the pandemic has been the safety of our staff and customers and while we are ready to go when allowed I would like to reassure everyone that our priorities remain the same.”
