Fingal Centre ready to bounceback

The team at the Fingal Centre are looking forward to welcoming customers and members back to the location on Monday 26th April as the Scottish Government lockdown guidance is relaxed.

Speaking prior to the opening, Facility Manager, Scott Milne said, “We have been gearing up for this date coming for a number of months, and it will be great to see our customers back in the Fingal Centre taking part in the activities available through our booking system.

“Customer and staff safety will continue to be a high priority as we look to delivery a COVID-safe environment across the location with staff on hand to offer customers advice.

“I am sure that those booking-in will be delighted to see the newly refurbished fitness room which we know will be a big hit with our customers and highlife members.

“There will also be access to the games hall and the all-weather pitch when we re-open on Monday. However, as we were preparing the building, a technical issue has been identified within the pool area which means that it will not open along with the rest of the centre.

Mr Milne concluded, “High Life Highland is working with Mears FM Services to identify what will be required in order to address the issue and we would hope to update customers early next week.”

HLH is working with Mears and the Highland Council with a view to increasing the amount of community access on offer in the weeks ahead as part of the Charity-wide bounceback2 campaign. Customers will be updated via the centre’s social media pages.
