There are so many choices for Plant of the Month at this time of the year. From the subtle simplicity of the snowdrops, pulmonaria and crocus to the exuberance of the daffodils which just shout out springtime and the new shoots of the year ahead.

The cherry blossom also beautifully whispers the beginnings of a new year ahead in the gardens, especially the compact Prunus incisa ‘Kojo-no-mai’ which is perfect for pots in even the smallest of patios or gardens.
