Inverness Botanic Gardens » Cactus House

Looked after by both the local Cactus Society and Garden Staff this special space is full of light and is likely to challenge your senses. You will find both Cacti and Succulents in the Cactus House, planted amongst 75 tonnes of rock – highlights include Agave, Aloe Vera, Crassula, Euphorbias. Some plants you will recognise as house plants, others are more commonly found much further afield in the drier parts of the World. For plant health and safety reasons please don’t touch the plants or walk off the paths. Please note that wheelchair access is available only on the upper level.  The Cactus House can be accessed from the Sales Greenhouse, Tropical House and outside Gardens.
