We are looking for a volunteer or two
Do you have an interest in or knowledge of Caithness history?
Do you enjoy research and solving a mystery?
We have around 350 images from across Caithness taken over the past 150 years, which have little to no supporting information.
We are looking for volunteers to take on the challenge of researching information to support the images, this could be where the photograph was taken, what and who is in the photograph and any other details you can pick up.
If you have an interest in Caithness history, have a little spare time and can’t resist a mystery get in touch
Your research and the images will then become part of Am Baile one of the largest online archives of historic photographs of the Highlands.
Training will be at Nucleus, and there will be support available throughout the project. This volunteering opportunity can be carried out either in the public search room at Nucleus or at home if you would prefer and have access to the internet.
