Description:
On Sunday 22nd March 2026 join the Mahler Players as they continue their Beethoven cycle, this time with a double-bill of the energetic and youthful 1st and 2nd symphonies. Written shortly after the beginning of the 19th century while Beethoven was in his early 30s, both works show a debt to earlier masters like Haydn and Mozart while at the same time treading their own path.
Strathpeffer Pavilion is the perfect venue in which to experience these masterpieces in the freshness of early spring. You can come along at 12 noon or 4pm. Refreshments will be available from the bar before the concert and in the interval of both concerts.
