Strathpeffer Pavilion is a unique conferencing venue for your business event, set against the backdrop of the wooded foothills of Ben Wyvis in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, we can offer a break from the norm for your guests, delegates, employees or board members.

The Pavilion is a historic building which has been restored to offer 21st century facilities and communication technology. The main hall is one of the largest spaces of its kind in the Highlands and is flexible to meet your business event needs. It can accommodate up to 310 people in a theatre-style, can be set up in a classroom format or for banqueting. With our modular staging we can adapt to various sizes, heights or it can be removed altogether.

Our newly refurbished Bar is also now available for small meetings and presentations or as a break-out area.

The Pavilion can also provide catering for your event from soup and sandwiches, buffets to full banquets.

Rooms and Dimensions

Main Hall

With moveable seating, demountable/adjustable staging, and a light and airy environment with black-out facilities, the Main Hall can accommodate a variety of different events.
The balcony to the rear of the hall has two rows of fixed seating and can accommodate an additional 30 people.

  • Buffet Style – 220 people


The Veranda can be accessed through the front of the Pavilion, as well as from the main hall, and runs along the full length of the hall, with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the gardens. This is a perfect area for delegate registration, event refreshments and as a buffet area.

Garden Room

This spacious, bright first floor room overlooks the Pavilion gardens and is ideal for smaller gatherings such as meetings, breakout areas, workshops, seminars and private lunches or dinners.


  • Reception – 80 people
  • Theatre Style – 40 people
  • Boardroom Style – 25 people
  • Banqueting Style – 30 people
  • Buffet Style – 40 people

Board Room

Also located on the first floor, this is another room ideal for smaller gatherings and breakout areas.

Strathpeffer is located 17 miles from the City of Inverness and 5 miles from Dingwall. Inverness Airport is only 25 miles away and regular public and organised private transport links can be accessed from Inverness city centre to Strathpeffer.
