Tain Library is bright and welcoming, carrying on the tradition of the Carnegie building in which it has been housed for over 100 years.

Regular Events at Tain Library (please contact library for more information):

• Bookbug Stories & Rhymes – Every Wednesday during term time (first Wednesday of the month is Gaelic Bookbug), 11:00-11:30am.
• Gaelic Bookbug  – Every First Wednesday of the month, 11:00-11:30am
• Reading Group – Every 6 weeks on a Thursday Evening, 7.30 – 9pm
• Chess and Chat – Come along for a game, a cup of tea and a biscuit, Wednesday mornings
• LGBT+ monthly gathering – Wednesday evenings 7-9pm
• Poetry for All – Looking at poetry of all kinds, including your own, every 2^nd Thursday 2.30-3.30pm
• Knitwits – Bring your own project or craft for charity, every 2^nd Saturday 10-12
• LEGO Club – Saturday mornings during term-time, 11am-12pm
• Jigsaw – We have an on-going communal jigsaw in the library, as well as over 60 jigsaws you can borrow

We also run various drop-in sessions for Digital Skills, Adult Learning and ESOL:
