sportscotland in partnership with Children 1st have created a new training resource for Safeguarding in Sport. This new resource is now called Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport (CWPS) and replaces the UK Coaching Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop (SPC).
As part of the workshop those who are booked on to the new course will be required to complete a short eLearning module prior to attending the three hour workshop. You will receive a link to complete this when you book on to the course.
The workshop itself is a child protection awareness course that helps participants to identify good coaching practice and understand what constitutes abuse and how to take appropriate action if abuse is suspected.
Minimum age 16.
