About the project

‘Meet the Books’ is an ongoing project run by the University of the Highlands and Islands and High Life Highland. It aims to raise awareness of the Fraser Mackintosh Collection of rare books at Inverness Library for academics, students and the public. The project takes the form of a blog which regularly showcases highlights from the collection, and an ongoing lecture/workshop series.

The project director is Dr Kristin Lindfield-Ott, Inverness College, University of the Highlands and Islands. Contributors to the project include:
