PUNCTUATE: An unsettled practice

In Conversation with Jim Mooney

The painter, Jim Mooney, will discuss the themes and concerns that provide a generative impetus for the work in PUNCTUATE with art historian Andy Stewart Mackay.  These influences are wide-ranging and include pre-Colombian ceramics, the carnivalesque, Queer Theory, the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze and radical, subversive precursors such as Antonin Artaud and Alfred Jarry (Ubu Roi).  Join us for a refreshing drink and the opportunity to meet the artist.  Booking essential via email or call 01349 781730.
