Debbie Lee is a mixed media/textile/stitch artist who recreates landscapes of the far North of Scotland in paint, collage and thread. Working from initial sketches, she builds up exquisite multi-layered pictures. Debbie’s process starts with painting, followed by collage of both textiles and paper before finally the detail is defined with machine embroidery and hand-stitching. Her inspiration comes from days spent in nature, creating a connection to the landscape.
