Customer Journey

General

  • Customers must sanitise hands on entry and exit.
  • Various sanitising and cleaning stations are located throughout the facility.
  • Regular reminders will be made regarding social distancing and frequent washing or sanitising of hands.
  • Customers should adhere to social distancing and directional signage while visiting the facility.
  • Entry for Fitness Room will be through the main entrance with the exit through the door to the All Weather Pitch (AWP).
  • Entry and exit for classes on the AWP will be directly via the AWP at the back of the centre (no access through reception).
  • Customers should leave the premises as soon as their session is finished and by following the designated exit routes.

Face Coverings

  • A face covering must be worn by all customers when in indoor communal areas, except where an exemption applies (as defined in the legislation) or when exercising/undertaking a pre-booked physical activity. This is a mandatory requirement.
  • HLH Staff will wear face coverings except where an exemption applies, such as: staff on reception with 2m social distancing and a screen, or staff who can maintain over 2m distance from customers when performing their regular duties.

Bookings

  • All activities must be booked in advance. No drop-in visits will be accepted so please do not turn up at the facility without having already booked.
  • Bookings to be made online or by telephone. All-inclusive and budget members can book up to 7 days in advance, Pay As You Go members can book up to 3 days in advance. All payments must be made in advance.
  • All activities have maximum numbers in place to ensure social distancing can be adhered to.
  • Please arrive on time for sessions. Avoid being early as queues should be avoided and if late access may be denied.

Fitness Room Use

  • Please arrive on time, ‘gym ready’ and wearing the correct attire as showers and changing facilities are not in use.
  • Sessions will be one hour in duration, allowing staff 15 min to clean before for the start of the next session.
  • Fitness Room sessions can be booked as: 1 customer or 1 family group (up to a maximum 4 people) per hour.
  • Sanitise your hands on entry to the Fitness Room.
  • Customers should clean all equipment before and after use, this includes items such as dumbbells and weight plates. A cleaning station is provided in the room.
  • Adhere to social distancing throughout the centre.
  • Water fountains are out of use, please bring your own water.
  • If you require a refresh induction of any additional equipment, please ask a member of staff before using it.
  • Please leave immediately after your session.

Group Fitness Classes

  • Fitness classes will be held outdoors and weather-permitting on the All Weather Pitch (AWP).
  • In the event of bad weather, we reserve the right to cancel a class with a minimum of two hours’ notice.
  • Please arrive on time, ‘class ready’ and wearing correct attire as showers and changing facilities are not in use.
  • Sanitise your hands on entry to the AWP.
  • Customers are to clean all equipment before and after use, where applicable. Equipment sharing is not permitted.  A cleaning station will be provided.
  • Facility aerobic mats are not available to use for hygiene reasons, please ensure you bring your own mat.
  • Class numbers will be limited. Floor markers will outline starting points and workout zones for customers to ensure safe social distancing.
  • On entry to the AWP, fill class spaces from the back to the front to prevent customers having to pass each other.
  • Entry to the toilet from the AWP is via the reception entrance.
  • Please leave immediately after your session.
