
Earlier this year, we announced our plans to upgrade our current booking system to provide you with a smoother, more reliable booking experience.
As part of the first phase of this upgrade, we want to inform you that our leisure booking system and member joining system will be temporarily unavailable from 8pm on Sunday 8th June until Wednesday 11th June. During this period, you will not be able to book classes or activities via our online booking system.
✅ Latest Update Regarding the Outage:
- Pre-booked activities will be running as normal throughout our leisure centres during the system downtime, so you’ll still be able to get a workout or catch up with friends at your favourite class.
- Unfortunately, we won’t be able to accept bookings over the phone, by email or in-person during the downtime.
- We’d like to encourage you to make bookings for the classes and activities that will be running during the downtime before 8pm on Sunday 8th June.
- The downtime does not affect bookings for School’s Out, Active Schools, other non-leisure centre based activities and online classes. These activities will remain open to book online through our normal booking link here.
- Once the booking system is back online, there will be a new web link for bookings. We’ll share this with you closer to the time so that you can update any bookmarks.
Please note: Leisure Centres will remain fully open and functioning as per normal opening hours throughout the period of downtime.
🤔 Why This is Happening Now:
There’s never a perfect time to take systems offline. However, in completing this important piece of preparation work now, it will allow us to start the building of a better booking system for our customers, and we think that’s worth getting excited about!
This is just the first phase of the upgrade. The customer-facing side of the booking system will remain unchanged for now, with exciting improvements coming later this year. We’ll keep you informed as those changes get closer in time.
In addition to this upgrade, we’re also developing a new smartphone app for High Life members and launching a brand-new website integrated with the updated systems. Woo hoo! 😊
